Discussing Academic Requirements for International Students

Welcome, everyone, to our introductory session on the academic requirements for international students.

Thank you, Professor. Could you elaborate on the language proficiency tests that are typically required?

Certainly! Most institutions require either the IELTS or TOEFL scores, with a minimum band of 6.5 for IELTS.

What about students who have completed their previous studies in English?

Great question! They may be exempt from these tests, but it depends on the institution's policy.

And what other documents do we need to submit as part of our application?

In addition to the test scores, you will need to provide transcripts and a personal statement.

Is there a specific format for the personal statement?

Yes, it typically includes your academic background, career goals, and reasons for choosing our program.

Once we submit these documents, how long does it usually take to receive a response?

It varies, but you can expect an outcome within four to six weeks after submission.
