Planning a Community Health Fair
Welcome everyone to today’s meeting. I’m excited to discuss our upcoming community health fair. This event aims to promote health awareness and provide free services to our local residents.
The health fair will take place on March 15th in the community park. We expect over 200 participants this year, which is a great increase compared to last year’s event.
We will have various health screenings, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol tests, and diabetes screenings. These services will be provided by local health professionals.
In addition to screenings, there will be informational booths where attendees can learn about nutrition, exercise, and mental health.
Volunteers are crucial for the success of this event. We will need help setting up the booths and managing the flow of participants throughout the day.
Please consider volunteering, even for a few hours. It’s a great way to give back to the community and gain some experience in event management.
Lastly, we’ll also have some fun activities for children, including a face painting booth and a bouncy castle. We want to make this a family-friendly event.
Thank you for your attention, and I hope to see you all at the health fair! Let’s work together to make this a successful event for everyone.
