Answer the following questions about yourself and your personal life. Try to give clear answers and add a short reason, example, or detail when possible.
Say where you are from or where you live. Mention your study or work. Add one or two things you enjoy doing
Sure. My name is Minh, and I’m from Hanoi. I’m currently a university student, and I’m studying business. In my free time, I like listening to music and going for walks with my friends. I’m quite friendly, but I can be a little quiet when I meet new people.
Choose 2–3 simple adjectives. Give a short explanation or example. Avoid only listing adjectives.
I would describe myself as friendly, responsible, and a little shy. I enjoy talking to people I know, but I sometimes feel nervous when I meet new people. I’m also quite responsible because I usually try to finish my work on time.
Mention one or two regular activities. Explain why you enjoy them. Use present simple for regular habits.
I usually watch videos, listen to music, or read books in my free time. I especially enjoy reading because it helps me relax after studying. Sometimes, I also go outside and have coffee with my friends.
Say whether it has changed or not. Compare yourself now with yourself in the past. Give one simple example.
Yes, I think my personality has changed a little. When I was younger, I was quite shy and I didn’t talk much to other people. Now, I’m more confident, especially when I talk to my classmates. I think meeting different people has helped me become more open.
Name the family member. Explain your relationship. Give one reason why you are close.
I’m probably closest to my mother. We often talk about my studies, my friends, and things that happen in my daily life. She usually gives me good advice when I have a problem, so I feel very comfortable talking to her.
Mention one personal habit or quality. Explain why you want to change it. Say what you are doing to improve.
I’d like to become better at managing my time. Sometimes I spend too much time on my phone, so I don’t have enough time for studying. Recently, I’ve started making a simple plan for each day. I hope this will help me use my time more effectively.
